You Can Buy Your Own Bubble/Zorb Balls for Soccer and Fun!

The other day I posted a video about “Bubble Soccer” or aka “Zorb Soccer”. There are companies out there that offer this as a sport (there is actually one apparently building near here too which is great. However…wouldn’t it be cool to own your own? They are obviously not that cheap, but they are also not that expensive either!

You can buy your own Zorb/Bubble ball on Amazon and start your own league within your local neighborhood….or simply buy one and randomly bounce into things…and people (whatever floats your boat). I thought this was pretty cool. I’ll probably stick to going to the companies since I probably wouldn’t be able to wrangle up enough interested people to get our own, but I am sure there are many people out there that can!

Awesome – Girl on a Loop Station Covering Michael Jackson

This is pretty talented. This is a girl on youtube by the name of Kawehi who used a Boss Loop Station to do a cover of MJ’s “The Way You Make Me Feel”. Came across this the other day and felt it was worth sharing. Shows how easy it really is to create a fun loop using nothing but a mic. This is how fun things like the Cow song are created. Simple music gear fun!  (what she is using is listed below)

Kind of makes you want a Loop Station doesn’t it ? 😉

Am I excited? Me? Naaaah…wait, YES! I decided to make an update to my book “Financial Advice – Thinking Outside of the Box“, bringing it to a “Second Edition”. Amazon offered for it to be available in their Kindle store and without hesitation, I said….duuuuuh. Wouldn’t that be the most financially smart decision vs self-publication/promotion? Of course, it would be. Although I may hold a lot of online PR/SEO power, I do not so much in the market of books (….yet). The audiobook version (of the first version) has already been on Amazon, but nobody wants to listen to a financial book as much as they would rather read it. That was music to my ears and made me feel important for a few minutes. Then I got distracted by a friend calling who said she was bringing over pizza……

Money and success do *not* buy happiness. They do, however, help mute the other stresses in life and keep them at bay, helping you to focus less on those and more on the things that do bring you happiness.

My own practices of financial strategies and career improvement have made it easy to not worry so much about some stresses. For example…over the last 4 months or so, I have spent far much money than I had planned, chasing dreams. I have also seen very little work this month and last. Despite all of this, I can still maintain my bills without worrying about when the next paycheck will come in. Doesn’t exactly mean I am far ahead during these 4 months, but also doesn’t mean I am falling behind (and I can still pick myself back up and get back to running).

Thank you, Amazon for adding yet one more investment into my basket of securities. Regardless of how small or large it may turn out to be. I just hope the advice that I share within the book helps others as well.

Destiny Launch Party at Microsoft Stores

Microsoft will be having a midnight release party at all Microsoft stores around the country for Destiny. It’s release date is September 9th, 2014 so if you want in, you better be there at the strike of midnight. There will supposedly be drinks, food, game play and giveaways (“and more”).

Apparently from August 26th (tomorrow) through September 5th, there will also be challenges, tournaments and some other activities for the release of Madden NFL 15. On September 6th, each store will have Madden NFL gift bags for the first 25 customers who buy it, and there will be a big party.

Who cares about that though right? It’s all about Destiny! I know it is for me as I have grown tired of Call of Duty myself. I tried playing just the other night as my cousin was over and he wanted to blow some “****” up, but I quickly found myself irritable..and that’s no fun. Too much drama and ignorance online.

Destiny looks like it will be a lot of fun. A nice mix between Halo and…Mass Effect maybe?

So who’s anxious? I know I needed something to be anxious about to make up for this summer (this summer has been both a blessing, and a faceplant)…thank you Bungie.

Trinidad scorpion ‘Butch T’ pepper Sauce by Dave’s Gourmet – Challenge

I finally got my hands on a bottle of this stuff (Dave’s Gourmet Scorpion Pepper Sauce). This is the pepper that bumped India’s “Ghost Pepper” off its pedestal. The Trinidad Scorpion Peppers ranks at 1,463,700 Scoville Heat Units [SHU] (Ghost Pepper ranks at or just slightly above 1,000,000). Sauces are always a watered down extract when it comes ot peppers, but this one is nowhere near tame. Even in it’s sauce form, this bottle ranks at 1,041,427 SHU (source).

As a comparison, jalapenos rank at 2,500–10,000 SHU and Habanero at about 350,000 SHU. So the Scorpion Pepper sauce is no challenge for weak minds.

So this sauce is about as effective as biting into a raw ghost pepper! Who wants to give it a try?

The Amazing Bacon Bowl

So there I was, bumming around Kohls enjoying my day off, hounding down some new threads, when I came across this. The “Perfect Bacon Bowl” maker. This isn’t just awesome…it’s awesome x2. Who doesn’t want one of these? It took every bit of self control not to buy this puppy. Since I have been trying to focus on a more healthier intake of food (and the fact that I haven’t been doing so well with that the last few weeks), I felt it was probably best to run into the opposite direction before it’s tasty gravitational pull did me in.

It does exactly what it looks like. You wrap a bunch of bacon around and it turns that tasty bacon into a tasty bowl. Then you fill it with even more tasty, resulting in the ultimate tasty. Works both in ovens and microwaves.

Awesome? Yes it is.

On a side note, I also learned that “Cost Plus” (World Market) carries smore flavored chocolate bars. They actually carry a ton of chocolate bars. Not the unique one I came in looking for, but they definitely offer quite the selection. The chocolate flavor blows away any chocolate bar I ever tasted. Very rich, very real.
