Happy Holidays and Happy Thoughts

Happy

I wish the best to everyone these holidays with nothing but fun memories and time shared with family, friends, galactic heroes and more!

This year has been one amazing roller coaster after another. From unlimited work to a dried up rotted summer of twists and crappy turn outs, to multiple escapes to Cali to get away from Vegas and clear the mind, to blurry (and odd) silhouette predictions of the future to a sudden explosion in profit, image, online presence and more.

Over the last month, one of my investments has grown so large, it wound up toppling its top record of traffic and earning potential while setting a new record 5 times in one week and kept moving up. It even had a mention on Entrepreneur.com which only made it even better. Doesn’t mean I am Tony Stark just yet, but it means the road is there and open. Enough excitement that a few friends and family are jumping on board to share the fun.

Not exactly what I was focusing completely on this year, but at least after failing in one area in life, I was able to succeed in another. Its an amazing opportunity to push ahead, albeit..my previous endeavors in the year would have been preferred since money really isn’t happiness, but “sometimes you have to be happy with what you have, because you could have had nothing at all” (a quote from a good friend “Upali”). At least this is still a positive moment in life, and one that can be shared with those I care about!

Now soon I get to bail from this polluted city of chaotic happenings (oh wait…that’s everywhere in the country these days…) and run off and spend a week in Tahoe with amazing friends, all crammed into an un-crammed huge deluxe suite with giant balcony, kitchens, fireplaces and more. There will be snow boarding, tubing, hiking, pummeling with snowballs, hot chocolate and more!

Success? I think so.

This may have been a year of good luck blessings turned to faceplants, but next year looks like it should be best if all ducks are lined up properly….(and then kicked over for pure entertainment…just for an added bonus of stress relief).

I mixed FOH (front of house) the other day for the most amazing acoustic performance I have ever experienced live in person. I spent most of the time sitting there with my eyes closed, just letting it all absorb. Happiness can be found in many things in life…that, being of one them.

I have been accepted by a few touring companies for freelance which that, including everything else lined up for next year…should be bring me into the six digit range. The union is also pressuring even harder now for me to join, giving me more ammunition soon to push back in exchange for higher rates. Will see how that works out.

I have also finally “officially” (state/city/county paperwork-wise) rolled my subsidiary brand into it’s own DBA under my company. This will allow the ability to better partner with audio supply manufactures for certain patented ideas.

This year, I almost had a foreseeable reason to slow down a little in my work life and focus on other great things, but that led to me realizing those things may not truly exist in the world. Not now at least. So back to focusing on success, friends and family. I now realize that one day I will be moving away from this hell hole of a city. When that day comes, then I can re-visit focusing on the other things in life.

In the meantime, I have 50lbs of multiple flavored Tootsie Rolls that I acquired from a recent event I worked. I am going to own this Halloween!

Until tomorrow, buy my ebook! This way you can take the first easy steps at conquering your own success!  Or don’t….you may prefer sitting on a sofa all day doing nothing, or playing with social networks all day…or pinning pictures of what you had for breakfast….or talking to yourself while staring into the corner of the room…or playing Xbox with the family dog…or tossing your cat out of a window (because we all know cats suck)…or toilet papering the neighbors car….or toilet papering the neighbors cat……all is well…but I advise giving the ebook a try first at least. You can’t lose 😉
