XDCC

XDCC is yet another form of file serving. This is an option you may use if you want to serv a specific list of files and don't want to run a whole file server for them. XDCC simply offers the list to the channel, an users are able to choose which file in the list they would like to download.

Setup: The options to set it up can be found under the main menu at the top of the screen and in Main Settings. There you will see the XDCC options (in that menu). After you set those options, you simply, like the rest, right click on the channel, go to Advertisments and start the XDCC.

XDCC comes in 2 different options for display.

Option 1: Long ad - Not recommened since most channels will ntoallow it because it can cause flood - It simply lists the ad into the channel, along with the entire list of files.

Option 2: Short ad - Recommened - It simply displays the ad with a ctcp trigger in which users can privatly request the list of files they can choose form. It will not display the entire list into the channel; just the ad containng the further options.
